THIS MAY BE INTERESTING–not free but close to it: Sheep Shearing at Missouri Town 1855, Fleming Park, Jackson County, MO. 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Adults $5.00, Youth 5-13 and Seniors $3.00. Under 5 Free. Our annual event where the flock is sheared of their winter fleece. Artisans will demonstrate the entire process of making wool including washing of the fleece, carding, spinning, dyeing and weaving. Handcrafted fiber pieces will be available for purchase.

Tractor enthusiasts will gather to drive a scenic 35 mile loop around Wyandotte County and raise funds for the Ag Hall of Fame. The Cruise starts at the Ag Hall, and heads to downtown Bonner Springs to join the Marble Day Parade. With a spin around Lakeside Speedway and stops at Cabelas, Nuts & Bolts Hardware and Wyandotte County Park, this scenic drive will be one to remember. Parade routes available to spectators. Sponsored by the Greater Kansas City Two-Cylinder Club; All tractor makes and models welcome.

KC Strings and the Metropolitan Strings Academy will celebrate the Grand Opening of their new Olathe shop with a day of fun, FREE, music festivities.

11:00am Stone Lion Puppet Theatre performs "Bubba and Trixie" (This performance is designed for children ages 1-8.)

11:30am "Bubbles and Bach"– Sing, dance, play bells, drums and more! Join us for a family music class sure to delight children ages 0-5.

Stringed Instrument "Petting Zoo"– Have you always wanted to try an instrument? All ages are welcome to try violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, banjo, mandolin, and piano! Our wonderful staff of instructors will be on hand to offer guidance and helpful tips!

Violin Making Demonstration- Master Luthier, Anton Krutz will share the process of violin making. See and touch the parts of an unfinished violin!
