We have WAY too many broken crayons in our house. They drive me crazy. I find them all over and step on them. Last Christmas, a good friend of mine, gifted us some adorable Christmas Tree crayons she had made. This year, I need something to give to friends/neighbors etc. So, I copied her idea and borrowed her pan and even enjoyed her company while using her pan and recycled these broken crayons. I made these adorable Christmas trees. Here is a link with instructions how to make them: http://frugalliving.about.com/od/frugalfun/ht/Make_Crayons.htm We used a silicone pan. The trees popped out pretty easily once the wax had dried again. Reduce, reuse, recycle! Look @ me crafting! Thanks Mindy for the idea!
