Hang up your Christmas lights when it’s warm!  What a concept!  Last year, our neighbor starting stringing Christmas lights the first week in November and I was so confused and then it clicked–it’s going to be cold probably when it is closer to Thanksgiving.  Beautiful fall days are so much more comfortable to tackle the BIG project of stringing lights.  This year we actually beat our neighbor to it.  The lights are hung — stockings no-not yet…

Here in KC-Friday may be the next really beautiful day.  Plan to get it done this weekend so you don’t have to freeze.  It’s also safer-no ice to assist you in sliding off of your roof!
